On the occasion of International Nurses Day, LITO Polyclinic honored its nursing staff by presenting them with flowers.

It is with great pleasure that we announce that, following months of studies and planning, the commencement of construction works for the expansion of LITO Private Hospital is now in its final stages.

This development marks an important step in the continuous enhancement of our services, aiming to provide even better care, greater capabilities, and a more comfortable experience for our patients and their companions.

A small tribute to Dr. Takis Kythreotis.

To an exceptional physician and, above all, a remarkable member of the LITO Polyclinic family.

His work, dedication, and legacy will always remain with us.

May his memory be eternal.

Takis Kythreotis was born in Famagusta in March 1946, the son of George and Eleftheria Kythreotis. After graduating from Famagusta Gymnasium, he studied Medicine at Charles University in Prague and completed his medical training in what was then West Germany. He returned to Cyprus in August 1977 and established his first medical practice in Paralimni.

In 1989, he played a leading role in the Famagusta district as a founding member of LITO Private Hospital, where he served as Executive Chairman until December 2025. He would often say, “My children, it is time for me to retire…” Yet there was always something that needed his attention, a challenge that required his guidance. His strong sense of responsibility never allowed him to rest or devote himself fully to the orchard he loved so much and where he found peace.

Until the very end, he remained a pillar of strength and a guardian of LITO, dedicating countless hours to both the medical and administrative sectors. He stepped down from his duties only one month before embarking on his final journey.

He took great pleasure in sharing his knowledge and experience with those around him. After his three children — Irene, George, and Eleftheria — LITO was his fourth child. The countless “Executive Chairman’s Notes” he left behind remain a precious legacy: a guide he carefully prepared so that we may continue his work, find solutions, and strive to become better every day.
