Diagnostic imaging at Lito Private Hospital is provided by the Demokritos Radiology Centre, which operates within the hospital in Paralimni and has been a point of reference for diagnostic imaging in the Famagusta district for more than 25 years.

Demokritos serves both inpatients and outpatients, offering CT scans, ultrasound, X-rays, mammography and dental panoramic (OPG/CBCT) imaging. With continuous investment in advanced technology, specialised staff and strict quality procedures, the centre provides reliable diagnostic results for patients and for referring doctors of every specialty.

The Medical Director is Dr Maria Andronikou Zouvani, who qualified in medicine at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, in 1990 and completed her specialty in Radiology at the same university in 1996. Alongside reporting X-rays, mammograms and CT scans, she performs a wide range of ultrasound examinations — including Doppler studies, neonatal brain and hip scans, and prenatal ultrasound — as well as minimally invasive ultrasound-guided procedures such as fine-needle biopsies (FNA) and drainages.
